Ronald G Hunter was born in Oakdale the son of Paul and Eva (Bickford) Hunter. He graduated from Oakdale High School. Ron married Norma Deuel on February 4, 1956 in York. The couple made their home in Norfolk where Ron worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads for 43 years retiring in 1999. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Ron is survived by his wife Norma Hunter, one son Ron Hunter, Jr. and Ginger Hingst, two grandchildren, Michelle Hunter and Paul Hunter, one great granddaughter Jade Curtis all of Norfolk, one sister Charlene Karella of Kenai, Alaska.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister in infancy.
