Ronald George Marotto, 66, of West Hartford, passed away on Sunday, June 10th at the John Dempsey Hospital. Born in Miami, FL, he was the son of the late Francis “Chug” and Grace (Turner) Marotto. Ronald lived in West Hartford the majority of his life and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed going to the Gold Roc Diner in West Hartford and was an artistic person who liked to paint and build wooden boxes. Ronald is survived by his son, Scott N. Marotto and his wife, Donna of Rocky Hill; his daughter, Erika Marotto of Montville; two brothers, Bill Marotto and his wife, Jeannine of West Hartford and Tom Marotto and his wife, Laurie of Wethersfield; a sister, Janet Marotto of Wethersfield; three grandchildren, Rodney, Rachon, and Romeo and several nieces and nephews.
