Ronald Garrett Cruzan, 50, of Jacksonville, died Monday, Jan.10, 2011, at Passavant Area Hospital.
He was born Nov. 7, 1960, in Springfield, the son of Richard Garrett and Lucille Hayes Cruzan.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Cruzan of Jacksonville; son Garrett Cruzan of Woodson; brother Rick Cruzan of Jacksonville; sister Jeanenne (John) Plevka of Morton; and two nieces and one nephew.
Mr. Cruzan was a 1978 graduate of Jacksonville High School. He had been a cook at many area restaurants, and more recently had been employed at EMI. He was an avid fisherman, and a model and radio-controlled car enthusiast. Ron also enjoyed coin collecting and music.
