Ronald G. Gove, 69, of Southington, husband of Kimberly E. (Hess) Gove, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford.
Ronald was born in Peabody, MA on October 12, 1942, the only son of the late Leo and Doris (Greenaway) Gove. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard, and was a 1964 graduate of University of New Hampshire, from where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Ronald worked for Orion Capital Companies in Farmington for 25 years, retiring as Government Affairs Manager in 1998. A sports enthusiast, Ronald was a former football and Little League coach in Southington, where he resided for close to 40 years, and was a longtime member of the New Britain Elks Club.
In addition to his wife, Kimberly, he leaves his son, Mark L. Gove of Bristol; his adored grandchildren, Arianna and Matthew Gove, and their mother, Carla Canar Santa Maria, all of Waterbury.
