Ronald F. Groeger, 76, of Bethlehem, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. He was the husband of Sylvia (Kindig) Groeger, with whom he shared over 55 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, Ron was a son of the late Francis and Florence (Lutz) Groeger. He worked in the Engineering Department for the City of Bethlehem for over 30 years. Ron enjoyed flying and was a licensed pilot, and also enjoyed his Honda motorcycles and watching NASCAR races. He and his friend, Jim, were always in search of the perfect hot dog. Ron attended the Church of the Manger in Bethlehem. Survivors: wife Sylvia; daughters Cheryl Novajovsky and husband Joseph of Whitehall, Joyce Galiardo of Seminole, FL, Sheila Miknyoczki and husband Jules of Easton; 4 grandchildren; sister Frances Ramson and husband William of Bethlehem; and his African Grey parrot, Ike. Ron was predeceased by a brother Richard Groeger.
