On Friday, August 19, 2016 Ronald Eugene McMillan, 83, passed away in Boise, Idaho. Ron was born in Emmett, Idaho to parents Howard and Dorothy McMillan on June 12, 1933. He grew up in Boise and graduated from Boise High School in 1951. After graduation he married his high school sweetheart Janet Morden and their marriage lasted until her passing in 1975. Together they had three daughters. In 1976 he met and married Marliss Jordan and they spent the next 37 years together until her passing in 2013.
Business took Ron and his family to Oregon, Montana and Washington. He enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, the mountains and the time he spent on his patio swing and he took great pride in his beautiful home and yard! He fought a valiant battle and survived beyond his time. Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten. He will be in our hearts forever!
Ron is survived by daughters Christine and Robert Blockoff; granddaughter Brooke and Mike Farlow and their children Max and Sara; granddaughter Jacinda Walters and her daughter Mya; Diana and Larry Peterson; granddaughter Aubrey and Bobby Anderson and their sons Cooper and Griffin; grandson Jordan and Claire Peterson; daughter Vicki McMillan, grandson Kenneth and Tiffany Lower, granddaughter Stephanie Lower and her son Jayden; stepdaughter Terry Harper; grandson Kreston Bailey; stepdaughter Jerrie Hammons, grandson Dustin and Heather Hammons and their girls Miya and Keira; granddaughter Brenna and Danny Lawson and their children Isabel and Hunter; and his last surviving sibling, his brother, Tom Silvey of Crescent City, California.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janet, his wife Marliss, his sisters Virginia and Julie, and brothers Danny and Darrell.
