Ronald Dinges, 55, of Stevensville, Michigan, died Friday morning, February 18, 2005, at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph, Michigan. R
Harbor was born March 24, 1949, in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Ernest and Lois (Sonnenberg) Dinges. He graduated from River Valley High School in 1967 and attended Western Michigan University. On June 26, 1971, he married Marcia Hausmann in Three Oaks, Michigan. Ron was employed as the parts manager at Weller Chevrolet in Bridgman, Michigan. He had coached Three Oaks Little League Baseball and was a member of the Lions Club and the Jaycees. Ron was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sawyer, where he served as an usher, and Communion server, and assisted with facilities maintenance. He loved sports and enjoyed watching his nieces’ and nephews’ sporting events and was a Nascar Racing Fan.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia, of Stevensville, son, Andrew Dinges of Nashville, TN; mother and stepfather, Lois and William Boyd, New Troy, Michigan; sisters, Ellen (Mark) Grover of Greensboro, NC; Lana (William) Rudolph of Three Oaks; Lynda (Joseph) Svoboda of Bridgman; brothers, Mark Boyd of Buchanan, Michigan and Kirk (Tracy) Boyd of Three Oaks; parents-in-law James (Anna Lou) Hausmann; brothers-in-law, James (Sheryl) Hausmann; and Thomas (Sherri) Hausmann and several nieces and nephews.
