Ronald Beverly Tormollan, Sr., 86, of Glen Burnie passed away on August 18, 2017.
Ronald was born on May 3, 1931 at his family’s home in South Baltimore to the late Charles Mason Arnold and Jean Virginia (Bafford) Tormollan. Ronald attended school in Baltimore and started working at his father’s Bakery at the age of 12. He joined the Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict and in the National Guard. He married his childhood sweetheart, Dorothy Mae Warfield on October 1, 1951. Ronald had a strong work ethic often having multiple jobs to allow Dorothy to stay home and raise their five children. He worked for Diamond Cab Company, The United States Postal Service, retired in 1989, and then worked driving school busses. When he was not working he enjoyed singing in his barber shop Chorus, Sons of the Severn. He also enjoyed bowling, the Orioles, and Ravens. However his greatest pastime was being with his family. He was a devoted family man.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Tormollan, children, Virginia M. Robinson(Howard), Thelma A. Carder (Samuel), Ronald B. Tormollan, Jr. (Margaret), Lewis Tormollan, and Sharon K. Crews( Jesse, Sr.); 13 beloved grandchildren; 17 cherished great-grandchildren; 3 siblings; and other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister.
