Ronald Aron Rubel, 78, of North Haven and formerly of Madison, husband of Judith (Dempsey) Rubel, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 with his family by his side. Born in Jerusalem, he was the son of the late Adolph and Hadassah (Nussdorf) Rubel. Ron had lived the majority of his life in Madison. He was a member of Congregation Adath Israel Synagogue in Middletown and served as a Board Member there.
Along with his wife, Ron is survived by his son, Jonathan Rubel and his wife, Nomi Safer of Framingham, MA; a daughter, Rebecca Rubel and her husband, John Greenstein of Brooklyn, NY; his brother, Gene Rubel and his wife, Myrna of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Benjamin Rubel, Noa Greenstein, Daniel Greenstein and Elisa Rubel. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Susan Rubel.
