Ronald Alma Rees, 80, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.
He was born on February 24, 1936 in Upalco, Utah to Moroni Dee Rees and Virgia Pectol.
He was first married to Georgia Behunin and had seven children.
Later he married Ruth Barton Whale and had one child and three step-children.
Ron was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions. He loved golfing, bowling and helping his neighbors. He worked for Read Bros and J.G. Reads as an accountant.
Ron is survived by his wife, Ruth, children (10) Michael (Starla) Rees, Kenneth (Cindy) Rees, Patricia (Zach) Powell, Jenny Payne, Sharon (Fred) Weston, Mark (Wendy) Rees, Chad Dee (Larissa) Rees, Ronald (Marie) Whale, LaRee (Kelly) Hall, Lorna (Clayton) Cheney, grandchildren (68), great-grandchildren (87) and brothers, Joe (Jana) Rees and Dennis (Terri) Rees.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Georgia, two brothers, Dick and Jim and sister, LaRita.
