BLAIRSVILLE- Mrs. Rona Shaw Bailey, 88, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her home in Blairsville, GA.
Mrs. Bailey was born October 12, 1932 to the late John and Martha Shaw in Durham, NC. She worked 38 years with Honeywell as production manager where she retired. Mrs. Bailey attended Grove Park Chapel and Grace Church in Madison, NC, she then attended First Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, GA. She was the best biscuit maker of all time. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by her husband, Fermon Anderson Bailey who passed in 1992; parents, John and Martha Shaw; brothers, Hesro Shaw, Robert Shaw, James Shaw, Howard Shaw; sisters, Hilda Bunn and Peggy Dennis.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her daughters, Lisa Capps (Lee) of Youngsville, NC, Teressa Pierce (Daniel) of Blairsville, GA; grandchildren, Brad Capps (Becky), Dan Pierce (Rose), Ben Pierce (Corie), Jeff Capps (Blair); great-grandchildren, Cole Capps, Will Pierce, Caroline Pierce, Eden Capps, Bailey Pierce, Emersyn Capps, Benjamin Pierce, Ezra Capps, Everett Capps, Landry Capps and Baby Pierce coming in January.
The public will be able to view Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. before the service.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
