SALEM – Ron E. Cline, age 70, of Salem, died at 7:24 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1948 in Salem Ohio, the son of the late Gene and Betty (Cox) Cline.
Ron retired from Ventra – Salem LLC where he worked as a press operator and team-leader for 26 years. He attended the general Motors Training Center and the Sperry Vickers Hydraulic School.
His first wife Glenda (Mathey) Cline preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy S. (Davis) Cline, whom he married June 28, 2008; two daughters, Nicole Lynn Baldwin of Cleveland and Ronda Sue Sutak of Salem; a stepdaughter, Candice E. Moretz of Salem; two stepsons, Michael A. Downs Jr. of Mentor and Stephen M. Downs of Damascus; two brothers, Richard Cline of Salem and Patrick Cline of Florida, and six grandchildren.
A sister, Diana Bradway and a brother, Peter Cline, also preceded him in death.
