Mr. Ron Bunn, age 80, of Valley passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at his residence.
Ron was born on February 16, 2016 in Coventry, England to the late William Thomas Bunn and Doris May Ashby Bunn.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Jan Bunn.
Mr. Bunn is survived by his sons, Mark (Jenny) Bunn, Hayden (Jutta) Bunn; sisters, Patricia Bunn, Susan Gillings; grandchildren, Matthew Bunn, Catherine Bunn, and David Bunn.
Ron served in the Royal Air Force from 1956 to 1958. He went on to earn and receive a Mechanical Engineering degree from the London Institute. Prior to coming to the United States, he worked in the engineering field in several different countries across the world. He and his family came to the Valley in 1977, where he worked for West Point Foundry as the Plant Engineer. He retired in 2001 after 24 years of service with West Point Foundry.
Ron was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching soccer.
