Ron D. Booth of Trussville, Alabama, born in Mobile, Alabama. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Cathy Booth; his three sons, Ronnie Booth, Jr., Trevor Booth, and Josh Carden, and one granddaughter, Kinsey Elizabeth Carden; one brother, Leonard Booth (Diane); one sister, Beverly Hall (George); father-in-law, Don Scheinert; mother-in-law, Sue Scheinert and brother-in-law, Greg Scheinert. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, L.T. and Lucile Booth and younger brother, Jerris Glenn Booth. Ron graduated from Mary G. Montgomery High School in 1973, he graduated from the University of Alabama in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and completed his education in 1984 at Birmingham School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree. Ron practiced law from 1984 to 1991. Ron and his father-in-law founded Southeastern Manufacturing Incorporated (SMI) in 1991. Ron was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church where he taught 4th and 5th grade Sunday School, and 4 and 5 year old children during Wednesday night Bible studies.
