Romonica Monique Quailes, affectionately known as “Cookie”, “Birdie”, or “Little Romonica” was born on January 16, 1980 in Easton, MD to Brother Monroe Quailes and Sister O’Dell Quailes. She departed her life on May 1, 2015 at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE surrounded by her family.

Romonica was educated in the Dorchester County Public School System.  Romonica was employed at Kenny Brothers and Holiday Express.  She loved singing.  She was a member of the Heavenly Wonders and the Soul Searchers.  Romonica was an extraordinary drum player.  Romonica was a jokester and enjoyed making others laugh.

Romonica is preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She leaves to cherish her memories her parents Brother Monroe Quailes and Sister O’Dell Quailes of Hurlock, MD; three children Tytionah Thompson, JayShaun Dockins, and Javon Quailes; three sisters Rocchelle (Shelly) Meus (Navelle), Equasia (Shanie) Quailes (Jermaine); one brother, Monroe Webb;  One grandmother, Margaret Cephas; and grandfather, Herberto Mercado; two godchildren, Trevonte Cephas and Destiny. A friend who was with her during her illness, Shirley Smith. A best friend Latisha Crumble, her church family at Full Gospel Church of God and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
