Romeo Caloccia, age 89 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born March 21, 1928 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late William P. Caloccia and Viola (Moffett) Caloccia.
Romeo is survived by his wife, Kathleen (McInnes) Caloccia of Clarksburg, WV; a daughter, Carol (Caloccia) Bennett of Clarksburg, WV; a son, William Romeo Caloccia & his wife, Joyce of Fairmont, WV; two granddaughters, Bethany Alicia Caloccia and Hannah Beth Caloccia; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Caloccia of Clarksburg, WV; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Romeo was preceded in death by two brother, William Caloccia and Donald Caloccia; two sisters, Betty Dutton and Ruth Perkins.
Romeo was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Dawson Mine for 21 years. He also worked for the City of Clarksburg for 19 years. He was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. Romeo loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, and gardener.
