Mrs. Roma Louise Sims, of Indianapolis, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Indianapolis. She was 93. She was born July 21, 1925 in Dover Hill, Indiana a daughter of the late William C. and Ella G. (Ritchey) Sims.
Roma was a graduate of Shoals High School in Shoals, Indiana and was a 1946 graduate of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing.
Roma is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Dan) McNally and Jayne Ellen Foster; her grandchildren, Jaime McNally, Will (Taylor) McNally, Alex (Keely) Foster and Anna Smolinski; her siblings, Jerry (Suzanne) Sims, Carolyn Stein and Wanda (David) Fischer as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, her husband, Wallace S. ‘Wallie’ Sims whom she married on August 17, 1947; her siblings, Hiram Sims, James Sims, Keith Sims, Billy Sims and Norma Walters.
