Roma Joan Chamberlain Brachtenbach was born in Smith Center, Kansas on September 4, 1932 to Dorothia and Chris Chamberlain. She passed away January 13, 2013 at 80 years of age.
She was united in marriage to Joseph Francis Brachtenbach on August 19, 1951 in Peetz, Colorado. Soon thereafter they made Littleton Colorado their home. Here they raised two sons; Richard (Karla) and Chriss (Terri).
Roma was a fine seamstress and sewed for many others during her life, including making the period clothing for the Molly Brown House and the Littleton Historical Museum. She made many dresses for all her granddaughters.
Roma loved the outdoors, including traveling and camping. She always had a beautiful yard and garden.
