Rollin Vanoy, 72, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 22, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born to Lula (Wilcher) and Hollis Vanoy in Liberty KY on March 11, 1946. He and his twin brother, Garland, moved to Indianapolis as young men and worked at Standard Service station in Beech Grove for 20 years as auto mechanics. They quickly earned the reputation of being brothers who could fix any vehicle. Over his career he earned many loyal customers who still brought their vehicles to him at home or often just stopped by to say hi.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Jo Ann (Leonard). His adoring daughters Lisa (Randy), Becky, Shelly and step son, Joe (Kellie). His 8 grandchildren whom he was so proud of, and five siblings that he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and darling daughter, Paula Kay.
