He spent the earlyyears of his life, marriage, and career there before excelling in New Orleans, LA as Winn-DixieStores, Inc. regional began his career when he was a teenager bagging groceries and retired in 1985. Heretired in Picayune where he enjoyed his golden years with his wife, Faye, of sixty-seven was an avid golfer, fisherman, carpenter, gardener, square-dancer, and, most of all, a fan ofthe Alabama Crimson Tide (Roll Tide!) He was an artist who preferred oil painting. His family’shomes are filled with his art and loved spending time with family and friends, dining out, barbecuing, and enjoying5’oclock happy hour. He was known for his story-telling, quick wit, and smile. He spent his dayschecking e-mails to forward jokes to his friends and family. He was loved and adored by all whoknew was a generous man who donated to several causes that were dear to his heart…, and Orren Lee .
