Rolando Garcia, age 68, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday July 13, 2022 at Veranda Nursing Home.
He was a lifelong resident born March 5, 1954 in Harlingen, son to Erasto and Maria A. Garcia. Rolando loved watching movies, cooking, gardening, his pet chihuahuas, shopping and going out to eat where he enjoyed conversation and made many friends throughout the years. He was also well known for always working out at the Zumba studios, an exercise he enjoyed daily.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Florentino Garcia, Juan Garcia, two sisters, Rosa Martinez and Maria Luisa Mancillas.
He is survived by his siblings, Maria D. “Fina” Rodriguez, Guadalupe Vega (Sesilio), Maria Yolanda Garza and Hector Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
