Roland E. Williams, Jr. went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was born in Weldon, North Carolina (Halifax County) in 1956.
Since then, Roland knew no strangers. He always gave everyone an encouraging word, and, on every encounter, he wanted each of us to be touched by the love of Christ. On the day of his passing, he gave testimony on the Power of the Holy Spirit and the significance of Romans 10:13. “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”. Roland would have wanted everyone to celebrate his life by being good to one another, knowing the Lord, and helping those in need. He wouldn’t want anyone to mourn his passing but be encouraged by the love and shared moments you spent with him. Be at peace for he is in peace.

Roland is survived by: Linda Williams, Wife, Roland Williams, III, Son (Annya), Tasha Williams, Daughter, Amaris Williams, Grandson, Cognac Williams, Catahoula Dog, Alvin Williams, Brother, Marvin Williams, Brother, Jeffrey Williams, Nephew, Lattice McNeil, Aunt, and a host of friends and relatives.
The Celebration of Roland’s life will be on Saturday September 24, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.
