Roland “Ron” Eugene Hewitt, age 61, of Newnan, GA passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at his residence. Ron was born on Monday, July 19, 1954, in Maryland to the late Bura Randolf Hewitt. and Jean Truehart Hewitt.
He was an electrician and worked for M.A. Industries in Peachtree City, GA. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Bura “Butch” Hewitt III. He is survived by his daughters, Kerri (Andrew) Peters, and Kristy (Scott) Ogletree; grandchildren, Kayleigh Ogletree, Preston Ogletree, Nathan Ogletree, Peyton “Baby Roland” Ogletree, and A.J. Peters; a brother, James Hewitt; and sisters, Sandra Hopkins and Delores Riddle. He is also survived by special friends, Lee and Fran Johnson.
