Roland Dean Beavers, age 84, of Backus, Minnesota passed away peacefully at home with family by his side, on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021. He was born December 26, 1936, at home in Ansel Township, MN, the son of Leora (Kruthoff) and Leland Beavers.
Roland loved fishing, hunting, and trapping. He had a great sense of humor and was always picking on his wife, Wilma, or the person nearest to him. He proudly served 16 years on the Backus Fire Department.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Leora and Leland Beavers; daughter, Julie Beavers; brother, Leland “Floyd” (Shirley) Beavers; sisters, Greta Beavers and Leona Shepard.
