Mr. Roger William Bates, age 47, of Milford, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009 in Yale-New Haven Hospital. Son of Nancy Ann Moore Bates of Milford and the late Richard Dana Bates, he was born on November 14, 1961 in Derby. He was an auto mechanic for the former Mad Hatters Automotive in Milford. In addition to his mother, he leaves three brothers, Allen Bates of Plainfield, Stephen Bates and Brian Bates, both of Milford, and a nephew, Jeremy Bates.
