Roger Dahlgren, 63, of Cassopolis, died Friday, April 8, 2011. He was born January 21, 1948 in Berwyn, Illinois to Arthur and Ovall (Cusac) Dahlgren. He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Arthur “Dale” Dahlgren, and John Dahlgren; and one grandson, Louis Roth, Jr.
He was a 1966 graduate of John Adams High School in South Bend, Indiana. Roger was a veteran of the US Army and served in Viet Nam. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Louis) Roth of Columbia, South Carolina and Emily (fiancé, Brian Abell) Dahlgren of Annapolis, Maryland; two sons Adam (Teresa) Dahlgren of Cassopolis and Andrew Dahlgren, currently serving in the US Air Force in Iraq; mother, Ovall Dahlgren of Mishawaka, Indiana; two sisters, Jane Zuroff of Mishawaka, Indiana and Barbara (John) Geddes of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, James (Gina) Dahlgren of Niles; nine grandchildren; 24 nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews.
