He was preceded in death by his father, John R. Wheatley; and his other father, Billie Frandsen; grandparents; and two nieces.
Roger was a Jack-of-all-trades and a master of some. He loved to tinker on all kinds of electronics and motors. He loved to play pool and was known as an excellent pool player. He loved fishing most of all and as a child would often ride his bicycle many miles to spend the day fishing and then ride home with his catch and a sparkle in his eyes. He taught his kids and nephews the sport and was proud to do it.
As a young man Roger worked on the trail of the dinosaur as a “vibe truck” driver, he was a small engine mechanic, bicycle mechanic and semi-truck driver.
Roger had a great sense of humor and a wit that was unmatched, he had a way of making people feel comfortable and could make just about anyone smile.
Roger has left us here on earth to go fishing with his dads, catching and telling whoppers. Rest well Woggie, you are loved.
