Roger Riojas , age 55, passed away on Monday September 29, 2008. He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Catherine Eileen and Evelyn Gail, and his wife of 25 years Rae Tucker Riojas. He leaves behind five siblings, Alex Jr., Robert, Richard, David and Tish, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his family, Roger”s greatest accomplishments were in education; he pursued three master”s degrees. As a teacher and diagnostician, he loved working with children, especially those with physical or emotional disabilities ” he will be missed by many prior students. He also had several successful years working in municipal government. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed time spent in the Boerne hill country. Roger was an excellent cook and his family will miss his wonderful meals. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex Sr. and Pauline Riojas.
