Roger Randall Osborn Sr, 71, of Lost Creek, WV passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 2, 1946 in Nutter Fort, WV; son of the late William and Edith Rogers Osborn.
Roger is survived by his wife, Susan Zickefoose Osborn; seven children, Marie Osborn and companion Jason Michael of Clarksburg, Dee Dee Powers and Mike of Haywood, Kimberly Osborn of Mt. Clare, Roger Osborn, Jr. of Clarksburg, Kristi Childers, Amanda Nutter and companion, Todd McVicker all of Mt. Clare, Beth Wright and Matt of Bradenton, FL; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Madeline Dean of Mt. Clare, Marvelene and Skip Wilt of Wilsonburg, Kenny Osborn of Clarksburg, John and Sue Osborn of Clarksburg, Gene Osborn of Melbourne, FL; brother-in-law, Charles Ward, SC; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Rosemary Belle Kallel Osborn on January 16, 2007; four siblings, Maxine Ward, Madge Riley, Donald Osborn, William “Bill” Osborn; brother-in-law, James Dean.
Roger served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed playing pool, fishing, collecting coins. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his dogs, Jasmine, Butter Brown, Mollie and Sadie.
