Roger was born October 27, 1960, in Forsyth County to Robert Armstrong, and the late Rose Wall Ivester. He served in the National Guard.
In addition to his parents Roger was preceded in death by his wife Dennie Armstrong, brother, Robert Armstrong, Jr. and sister, Karen Armstrong.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Justin Armstrong, and Jason Armstrong (Megan), sisters, Debbie Irvin and Patricia Armstrong, brother, Mark Armstrong, and grandchildren, Hailie Armstrong, Justice Armstrong, Zoey Armstrong, and Emersyn Armstrong.
