Roger Lee “Shorty” Hall, 44 of Independence, WV, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 1, 1970 in Kingwood, son of the late Paul Walter and Loretta Antille Bowman Hall. Roger had worked at the Preston County Sheltered Work Shop. He loved hunting, riding his 4-wheeler and cutting wood. He was survived by seven brothers, Walter “Lee” Hall and Rotha of Masontown, Ray Hall and Susie of Fairmont, Larry “Dink” Hall and Judy of Terra Alta, William “Bill” Hall and Margaret of Moterey Va, Paul Jr “Peanuts”Hall of Independence, Ott “Cricket” Hall of Independence, James “Shrimp” Hall and Charlena of Yelm WA, two sisters, Betty “Sadie” Stevens and Richard of Grafton; Kathryn “Sis” Rose and Brian of Salem, one aunt Irene Bowman Workman and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha Irene Hall Knotts in 1997, one brother, John Dewey Hall in 2011 and one sister-in-law Laura Togher.
