Roger Lee Adams, 67 of Belleville, IL formerly of Centralia, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the John Cochran VA Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

He was born April 30, 1949 in Centralia, son of Robert Adams and Grace (Weeks) Adams.

Roger is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Adams of Central City and Christine Paskavich of Centralia; two nieces, Clarissa Schroeter of Centralia and Charity Stofferahn of Ashley; a nephew, Lincoln Glass of Alexandria, IN; and several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Joshua Glass.

Roger attended Centralia High School, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and University Illinois in Champaign. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Roger worked for many years as a carpenter with his father and grandfather in the Centralia area. He also worked on the nuclear power plant near Champaign. He recently worked for Metro Transit in East St. Louis. Roger enjoyed BMW motorcycles, working on cars, music and Doctor Who.
