Roger L. Daoust, 72 of Jackson passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Roger was born February 24, 1947 in New York, New York to the late Romeo and Rosaria Daoust. He was a loving husband, devoted father, amazing grandfather and trusted friend to so many. He was a retired Carpenter with the Monmouth County Local 2250.
Before joining the Carpenters local he was employed for many years with Henry Vaccarro construction. Throughout his career, some of his construction layout work included the original section of CentraState hospital, the Freehold Raceway Mall, Veterans Memorial Park Holmdel, Edison Hospital & so many others. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Vermont, fishing, boating and hunting.
His love for his family always came first above all. He will be greatly missed. Roger is survived by his wife of 49 years, Debby Clayton Daoust ; son, Michael Daoust and his wife Barbara of Jackson; daughter Renee Schweke and her husband Jordan of Brick; sister, Linda Marques and her husband Pat of Toms River; grandchildren, Matthew Schweke; Daniel Schweke; Adam Daoust; many cousins, nieces and nephews as well as his faithful dog, Katie.
