Mr. Roger Williams, age 63, of Milford, beloved husband of 17 years to Kathleen Macdonald Williams, passed away Friday November 27, 2009 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Milford on June 23, 1946, he was the son of Eleanor Miller Williams of Milford and the late Raymond Williams. Roger was a graduate of Milford H.S. Class of 64 and severed in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a truck driver for many years. Roger was a member of the Dodge Brothers Club and restored his vintage 1930 Dodge Coup. He was also a model train enthusiast and took great pride in his creations.
Besides his wife and mother, Roger is survived by four children. Ken Williams of Oxford, Renee’ Saulnier of Norwalk, Stacey Williams of Seymour and Cheri Argraves of Newtown; two step-daughters, Valarie Grenier of Bristol and Vickie McIver of Spring, TX; twelve grandchildren; three brother Raymond Williams of Elsworth, ME, Richard Williams of Independence, KS and Ronald Williams of Milford. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
