Roger J. Mientke, 61, of Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly in Wausau, WI on August 12, 2021, following an accident.
Roger was born on May 6, 1960, to Thadeus and Tillie Mientke in Wausau. He graduated from Rosholt High School in 1978. He married Tammy Siems on May 10, 1980 in Wisconsin Rapids, where they resided until 2021.
Roger is survived by his wife Tammy; children: Ryan (Beth) Mientke of Iron River, Michigan, and Leah (Travis) Eswein of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; grandchildren: Gavin Eswein, Avery Eswein, Kaydance Mientke, and Reegan Mientke; sisters: Joanne (Paul) Putt of Hixson, TN, Rachel (Joe) Kowal of Stevens Point, WI, Michelle Haase of Albertsville, AL, and Loriann (Nathan) Zoch of North Fond du Lac, WI; brother: Josh (Barb) Mientke of Otego, NY; brother-in-law: Darin (Sue) Siems of Cumming, GA; mother-in-law, Barb Siems of Greenville, IN; sisters-in-law: Sherry (Joe) Rookstool of Greenville, IN and Lisa (Jeff) Deneen of New Albany, IN; special cousin and friend of the family Jason Bickford and 18 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Thadeus and Tillie Mientke; father-in-law Henry Siems; and infant brother Mark Mientke.
