Roger Goodwin Schaap, born October 10, 1925 in St. Paul, MN to Jacob Otto and Grace Marie Schaap, and passed away from natural causes on January 29, 2018.
After high school, Roger Joined the Navy but still managed to swing a date with his high-school sweetheart and cheerleader, Jeanette M. Keller. His charm and charisma convinced her to spend seventy-one amazing years with him. They raised a family of three and in retirement traveled extensively.
Roger was preceded in death by daughter DeAnn and son, Tom. Roger is survived by his wife Jeanette and son Tim and daughter-in-law, Juanita. He will be remembered fondly by seven grandkids, great-grandkids, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family.
