MAYS LICK Roger Gifford, 82, of Flemingsburg passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Fleming County Hospital. He was a tobacco & diary farmer. His wife, Helen Jefferson Gifford died on August 21, 2003.
Mr. Gifford was born in Robertson County on February 27, 1930 son of the late Claude & Madie Cooper Gifford.
Survivors include 3 sons, Roger Wayne Gifford of Cincinnati; Gerald (Sue) Gifford and William Dale (Connie) Gifford of Flemingsburg; 2 daughters, Mary (Real) Gagnon of Aberdeen and Roxanne (Kevin) Lawrence of May’s Lick. 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife and 2 brothers, Jack and Lovell Gifford; 4 sisters, Rebecca Adamson; Elva Reed; Imogene Myers and Mary Katherine Myers.
