Roger F. Groleau, 82, of Hamden, passed away July 23, 2012 in St. Raphael’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Ann Alberino Groleau. Born in New HavenMay 9, 1930, he was the son of the late Adolph and Marie Poulin Groleau. He worked as a tool maker until his retirement. He served of the Board of Zoning Appeals in Hamden for many years and was an avid Red Sox fan. Besides his wife. He is survived by a son, Robert Groleau of Austin, TX.; a step son, Anthony J. (Donna) DeFrancesco; a step daughter, Lisa (Michael) Pyne and their family; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Phyllis Corio Groleau; a son, Roger F. Groleau Jr.; two brothers, Leopold and Roland Groleau; and a sister, Cecelia Groleau. Roger’s family would like to thank the Staff on Verdi 3 North at St. Raphael’s Hospital for their care and attention.
