Roger E. Swango, 45, Pendleton, died November 18, 2005 at his residence. He was born July 19, 1960 in Anderson, IN, and resided in Pendleton. He was a mailing specialist for Kiwanis International in Indianapolis for 10 years before having to retire early due to health conditions.
The Lord blessed him with a liver transplant on June 17, 2001. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed thoroughbred horse racing, fishing, football and listening to music.
He is survived by his Mother: Janice Shaw and stepfather: Paul Kelly of Anderson, Father: Robert E. Swango of Anderson, Daughters: Elisha Swango of Erlanger, KY and Christy Pierce of Anderson, Stepdaughter: Amy Niccum of Anderson, Stepsons: Chris Hardsock of Crittendon, KY and Steven Gray of Anderson. Brothers: Robert G. Swango of Pendleton, and Kevin and wife, Melissa Swango of Pendleton, Stepbrothers: David and wife, Lori Shaw of Scottsville, KY; Jerry Shaw of New Whiteland and Paul and wife, Jaidy Kelly II of Ramsey, NJ.
A very special friend Lea Davis of Markleville and 6 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded by his his Grandparents, Stepdad, Gerald L. Shaw Sr. and granddaughter: Olivia Paige.
