Roger Dale Mathews, 71, died August 5, 2015, at his home in Jackson, AL.
He was a native and resident of Clarke County, AL. Dale graduated from Jackson High School in 1963. He was a member of McCann’s United Methodist Church. Dale retired from Boise (Allied), after working there for many years. He was a member of Santa Fe Masonic Lodge # 226. Years ago Dale was also a Jackson Ciy Councilman. He loved to play golf, watch old westerns, woodworking and building things. He loved gospel and country music and singing in the church choir. Dale was an avid Auburn fan. He loved his family. Dale had a very outgoing personality and never met a stranger. Dale will be remembered as “always having a smile on his face.”
