Roger Dale Garner, age 74 of Moody, AL passed away on November 22, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Delphine Hammond Garner; daughters, Bonita Chandler (Jamie) and Rhonda Hoover (Chris); sister, Georgie Garner McBride; grandchildren, Lora Whitehead, Taft Whitehead, Travis Whitehead, Andrew Crow, Aaron Crow, Ian Crow and Reagan Hoover; numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of Moody Church of Christ. Roger retired from Limbaugh Toyota after 25 years as Parts Manager. He began his career in the auto parts industry in 1963 at DeMent-Mollison in North Birmingham and remained with Ed Mollison and GM Parts until 1992 when he joined the Southeast Toyota family. He helped establish the Overnight Parts Alliance group which is still active today. Roger enjoyed all aspects of his career, especially being a mentor to his employees and creating solid business relationships. As part of his business success, he and Delphine were able to travel extensively and enjoyed visiting 10 different countries and multiple trips in the U.S. He was a loving and fully devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Jimmie and Deane Campbell, lifelong friends of 53 years, for their constant love and support.
