Roger D. Adleman, age 79, of Stockton, IL passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Provena St. Joseph Center in Freeport. Roger was born on July 11, 1937, to the late Merle and Violet (Jones) Adleman in Durand, IL.
In his early years, Roger worked at Structo, and Atwoods, and built silos. He retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation after 33 years as Highway Maintainer. Roger enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and cutting wood. He also enjoyed watching the weather channel and watching his grandchildren play basketball.
Roger is survived by his son, Troy (Patti) Adleman of Stockton, grandchildren, Elise, Kristian and Delaney of Stockton, and his sister, Dolores (Bill) Mammoser of Stockton, sister-in-law, Audrey Adleman; and close friends, Larry and Myra Pearce. He is preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Violet, brother, Merle, and infant sister, Barbara.
