Roger passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, October 25, 2012. He was born on December 1, 1934 in Alma Center, WI to August and Iona (Rush) Buttke. Roger graduated from Alma Center High School in 1952, and married his sweetheart Jean Marie Amoth on December 15, 1956. Roger and Jean moved to Wisconsin Rapids in 1956 where he was employed at Consolidated Papers for 36 years, retiring in 1991. He was the proud father of 3 children; Sandy, Randy, and Mike.
