Roena Lois “Sis” Kennedy, 85 of Webster, passed away at United Hospital Center, Saturday, December 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 20, 1933, in Grafton, daughter of the late Ellis and Alma P. Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ressie Ray “June” Kennedy, Jr. January 28, 2013.
Sis is survived by six children, Rev. John Kennedy and wife Lois, Clinton, Township, MI, Gary Kennedy, Grafton, Margaret “Peggy” DuVall and husband Jack, Grafton, Angie Jones and husband Tom, Grafton, Jeanetta “Jan” Mondik, and Companion Rich, Morgantown, Roseanne “Rosy” Miller and husband Mark, Grafton; one daughter –in-law, Maxine “Kay” Kennedy, PA; twenty grandchildren, Beth Ann Mayle and Danny, SSgt. John “Buddy” Kennedy, Jr,and Alex, Tommy Ray Kennedy, David Irwin, and Missy, Lisa Irwin, Jeremy Kennedy and Katie, Ray Kennedy and Tina, Melissa Kennedy, Daniel DuVall and Julie, Micah DuVall and Danielle, Joel Duvall, Diana DeWolfe and Joe, Thomas “Tommy” Jones lll, Rebekah ‘Becky” Lupton and Brent, Brittany Wininger and Josh, Bobby Miller and Anissa, John Miller, and Genna, Meagan Shreves and Zach, Keisha Miller and Joe, Kayla Miller, many great grandchildren; two sisters, Rozena Crum, TN, and Rosetta Weaver, Massillon, OH, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Kennedy, one sister, Virginia Newman.
