Rodolfo “Rudy” Castaneda III, 48, entered the Lord’s heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
Rudy was born on July 8, 1971 in Harlingen, Texas to Rodolfo Castaneda & Maria Flores Castaneda. He was a family man who loved & adored his family. He enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. Rudy was currently employed with BBVA Compass Bank, and had been employed in the past with Capital One Bank, San Benito Bank & Trust, and Coastal Bank. He was a wonderful, loving, & devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, & friend to many who will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by both his parents; brothers, Rodolfo Castaneda Jr., Jose Castaneda, & Jesus Castaneda, and sisters, Maria Castaneda, JoAnne Castaneda, & Deborah Castaneda.
Rudy leaves behind his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, his beloved wife of 28 years, Mirna Castaneda; children, Michael Castaneda (Dora), Kevin Flores (Vivian), Crystal Castaneda (Edgar Tejeda), Chloe Castaneda, & Cyrus Castaneda; grandchildren, Wendy Castaneda, Kasandra Castaneda, Alyson Castaneda, Michael Lucas Castaneda, & Ethan Tejeda; siblings, Gloria Castaneda, Elida Gray, & Joe Castaneda (Zory); and numerous nieces, nephews, & other relatives.
Inurnment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria.
