Rodney Williams, age 55, of Rensselaer, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on March 27, 1965, the son of Cecil and Erma (Dobson) Williams. Rodney attended Kankakee Valley High School and graduated with the class of 1984. Rodney was a welder by trade and worked at Vanguard National Trailer Corporation in Monon, IN for over 15 years. He also formerly served in the Indiana National Guard. Rodney really enjoyed being outdoors in his spare time. He spent a lot of time hunting and fishing. Rodney loved spending time with his family and his faithful canine companion, Jack. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Rodney is survived by his father, Cecil Williams, siblings, James (Peggy) Williams, Larry (Rita) Williams, Sharon (Dave) Pirlot, all of Rensselaer, Marlene Timmons of Rochester, IN, and Keith (Sharon) Williams of Wheatfield, IN; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Erma Williams.
