Rodney R. LaDue, Sr., 82, of Fountain Hill, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday February 11, 2022. He was the husband of Eleanor (Zondlo) LaDue, with whom he shared over 55 years of marriage. Born in Tupper Lake, New York, he was the son of the late Peter and Yvette (Romaneda) LaDue. Rodney honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked for General Mills for over 20 years, until retiring. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a Life Member of the Hellertown Sportsmans Club and the NRA. He was also a Hunter Education Safety Instructor. This past Sunday, Rodney told his son Tom’s Godson Jason, all about him fishing and growing up in the Pulaski, New York area.
SURVIVORS: In addition to his loving wife Ellie, he will be lovingly remembered by his sons Rodney R. LaDue, Jr., Thomas A. LaDue and his wife Tami all of Bethlehem; sister Yvette LaFrankie, of Orefield; brothers Franklin LaDue and his wife Teresa of Kempton, Ligoure “Lee” Leroux and his wife Shirl of Schnecksville; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
