Rodney Lee Decker, “POPS” of Rio Communities Passed away on April 3rd, 2023. He was preceded by his. Wife and best friend Elaine Decker. He was a hard-working man even into his last week’s here on earth. He loved working with his hands and made a lot of unique wood art, such as lamps made from logs. He was a gentle and loving man who loved the lord and his family. He passed with peace and was very. happy in his last days. He will be missed but not forgotten. He was survived by his Children, Barbara Wetherington, Sharon and Jeff Richter, Dennis Wetherington and Roxanne Myers. He was survived by. 16 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great, Great Grandchildren. He had many friends he would call to keep in touch with over the years as he would sit with a cigar and a smile on the back porch. of his daughter’s home. He kept the company of many friends on that porch as well. He was so easy to talk to and loved to listen to your stories. Pops was 86 years old when he passed but now, he is running. with a 30-year-old body in heaven.
