Rodney L. Bivens 71, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011
in Union Hospital of Terre Haute. He was born on
May 18, 1939 in Vanceburg, KY.  Rodney held memberships
with Mecca A.R.A.B.S., Fish N Game of Montezuma, The
Historical Quilters club of Mecca, and the Coffee club of
Mecca old school house. He retired from Gem City Engineer
of Dayton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Essie Bivens, a
brother; Jimmy Bivens, and a son; Frank Bivens.
He is survived by his wife; Jane Bivens of Hillsdale,
Daughters; Zandra Haynes & Family, Liza Case & Family,
Brenda Peterson & Family, Tori Siemer & Family,  Essie
Bivens & Family. Sons; Rick White & Family, Perry Bivens
& Family, Mark White & Family, Rodney Bivens Jr. &
Family, Mike White & Family, Eddie White, and Ronnie White. A brother Ronald
Bivens & Family, a sister Linda Sue Strickland & Family,
Brother In-laws; Ray Wilson & Family of Mecca, IN., Bob
Wilson & Family of WV., and Virgil Wilson & Family of
Hillsdale. Sister In-laws; Barbara Hardman & Family of
Hillsdale, and Jan Bivens of AZ. Twenty Eight grandchildren,
Twenty One great grandchildren, and several nieces
and nephews. In the extended family; Kristie, Joe,
and Kloey Jones.
