Rodney Howard Bott, 67 of Corinne, Utah passed away peacefully at his home Monday, May 20, 2019.
Rod was born December 17, 1951 to Moroni F. and Edith Ramona Tingey Bott. He was a lifelong resident of Corinne, UT attending Corinne schools and graduating from Box Elder High School. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a mission to Saskatchewan, Canada. He married Joyce Richan in 1991, in Laketown, UT, (later divorced). They are the parents of one daughter Jordan (Tim) Murray. Rod worked for Whitaker Constructions 30 plus years as a diesel mechanic.
Rod enjoyed the outdoors, working in his garden, and tinkering about. In his younger days he served on the Corinne Fire Department and attending the Mountain Men Rendezvous. His greatest love was his family, the apples of his eyes were his two granddaughters.
Rodney is survived by his daughter and son in-law Jordan (Tim) Murray; granddaughters: RaleyAnn, and Renleigh. His siblings: Shirley (Rex/deceased) Martindale, Salt Lake City; Russell (Julie) Bott, Parowan; Lois (Les) Astle, Laketown; Drieu (LeAnn) Bott, Ogden; Dana (Darrell) Spencer, Ogden; Varsel (Rhea) Bott, Ogden; Lloyd (Mary) Bott, Tremonton and Lonii (Darin) Rushton, Layton.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents Moroni F and Edith Ramona Tingey Bott, brother Calvin Valgene and sister Linda Lee Bott.
